About this christmas sweater cookie cutter
Ugly Christmas sweater parties have made the jumper one of the most popular Christmas cookie shapes. This outline is a sweater laid flat: a round neckline, a straight body and two long sleeves angled outwards. At the default 95 mm it is 95 mm wide and about 88 mm tall, and the sleeves are about 18 mm wide at the cuffs.
The body is a large, almost rectangular area, which is exactly what you want for patterns – Nordic stars, reindeer, stripes or a big piped Christmas tree. The sleeves are wide enough to bake without trouble, and the gap between each sleeve and the body is open and generous, so dough does not stick in the cutter.
Sweater cookies are great for decorating parties. Give every guest a plain cookie and a few piping bags and run a vote for the ugliest one. They also make good personalised gifts: pipe a name or an initial on the chest.

Dough and baking tips
A pale sugar cookie dough shows coloured patterns best, but a chocolate base with white piping looks smart too. Roll to 5–6 mm and chill. The sleeve cuffs are the furthest points from the centre, so they colour first – a slightly cooler oven or a minute less keeps them pale.
Decorating ideas
- Flood the body and sleeves in red or green, let it crust, then pipe white zig-zags across the chest and the cuffs.
- Add a row of white dots, a snowflake or a reindeer in the middle, and tiny sugar pearls as pom-poms.
- Pipe a ribbed hem and cuffs with short vertical lines for a knitted look.

- Material: PLA or PETG, ideally a filament sold as suitable for food contact
- Settings: 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers, 2–3 walls, no supports – the STL is already rim-down
- Blade: 1.0 mm thick and 15 mm tall by default; use 1.2 mm above 120 mm
- Print time: roughly 25–40 minutes at the default size
