About this rocket cracker cookie cutter
Rockets are the crackers children wait for all evening, and this cutter turns one into a cookie they can hold. It has a straight body with a pointed nose, two swept fins and a short flame at the tail, all joined in one outline. At the default 100 mm it is about 100 mm tall and 49 mm wide, with a body about 20 mm across.
It is the safest way to let kids enjoy a rocket this Diwali: no fire, just icing. The fins and the flame are pointed, so use a firm dough such as sugar cookie or shortbread, keep the cutter at 90 mm or larger, and lift the cookies with a thin spatula rather than your fingers.
Decorating is quick, which suits a kids’ table: flood the body in red, pipe white diagonal stripes, then drop orange and yellow sprinkles on the flame while the icing is wet. For a party favour, bake the rockets on lolly sticks pushed into the base of the dough before baking.

Printing this cutter
- Material: PLA or PETG, ideally a filament sold as suitable for food contact
- Settings: 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers, 2–3 walls, no supports – the STL is already rim-down
- Blade: 1.0 mm thick and 15 mm tall by default; use 1.2 mm above 120 mm
- Print time: roughly 25–40 minutes at the default size
