About this christmas pudding cookie cutter
The Christmas pudding – a round, dark fruit pudding with white sauce poured over the top and a sprig of holly – is a British and Irish Christmas classic, and it makes a very cheerful cookie. This outline is a round pudding about 68 mm across with a holly sprig on top: two leaves spreading left and right and three berries in the middle. At the default 85 mm the cookie is 85 mm tall and about 71 mm wide.
The pudding itself is a big circle, so it bakes evenly and gives you plenty of space for the classic dripping white top. The holly leaves taper to points at their outer ends, and the berries are about 12 mm across; they all overlap the top of the pudding so the sprig stays attached. The shape cuts cleanly from about 60 mm up.
Pudding cookies are a fun alternative for people who do not like real Christmas pudding, and they are quick to decorate in batches. They also make good gift-box toppers alongside the Holly Leaves template.
Size guide
The Size setting is the cookie’s longest side. This is how big the christmas pudding cookie comes out at a few common sizes – the generator shows the exact numbers for any size from 30 to 200 mm.
| Size setting | Cookie (width × height) | Blade | Good for |

Dough and baking tips
Chocolate or spiced gingerbread dough gives you a dark, pudding-coloured cookie without any icing on the body. Roll to 5–6 mm and chill the cut cookies so the leaf tips stay pointed. The round body is forgiving, so softer doughs work here too.
Decorating ideas
- Pipe a thick white top with drips running down the sides, let it set, then flood the leaves green and the berries red.
- On a plain cookie, flood the pudding brown and add tiny dark dots for currants before adding the white top.
- Brush the white icing with a little pearl lustre so it looks like glossy custard or brandy sauce.
Printing this cutter
- Material: PLA or PETG, ideally a filament sold as suitable for food contact
- Settings: 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layers, 2–3 walls, no supports – the STL is already rim-down
- Blade: 1.0 mm thick and 15 mm tall by default; use 1.2 mm above 120 mm
